Huckabee Surprises Chatty Ann Coulter!
All of my readers know how I feel about one of the best shows on television: FoxNews' "Huckabee" on the weekends. This week it was so delicious I watched it Saturday and Sunday! He has had some unlikely (and surprising) guests on, but this last show was the best.
Enter the ever-talking Ann Coulter who is there to promote her book Guilty: Liberal "Victims" and Their Assault on America. She's been all over television for the last two weeks, promoting her book. Now I know she is a polarizing person. Even people who agree with what she writes (and says) do not like the manner and tone in which she says it. (I fall into that category.)
Huckabee, in his usual gracious manner welcomes her to his show and mentions she's there to talk about her latest book. And before we knew what happened, He said something about being unable to understand why people say untrue things about others. She agreed, ready to talk without end, and then he said, "Let me show you what I mean."
What followed was too delicious to describe adequately. You will have to watch the video to see what I mean. But I can tell you that forty-six-year-old Ann was actually speechless for three seconds! There I was, in my own front room, yelling, "Go Huckabee!" (You just don't see this often.)

Ha! This is great -- Ann really has a grating personality but I applaud Huckabee for challenging her afterall it was his reputation at stake regardless of her popularity and did he say "when he runs again"... good post, Miss April!
Thanks, Judi. It was, as I said in the post, absolutely delicious! I watched it 3 times! Loved her confused look.
I usually agree with what she says, just not the WAY she says it. But she knows what sells books (and web sites, too): controversy!!
We've been there, done that, right?
