Salvation Army Kettles Accepting Credit Cards

There could be less jingle in the Salvation's Army's hallmark red kettles this season. The charity is testing kettles that take debit and credit cards.

What a sad commentary on our culture. I was taught to give regardless of my financial condition. Guess that's old fashioned now?
