Whitney's Last Song - Videos
So the trouble is not with the law, for it is spiritual and good. The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin.
I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.
But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. Romans 7:14-16 NLT (spoken by Paul)
Just as Paul was struggling with sin, so was Whitney. She was raised in the church and knew Jesus as her Savior at an early age. But like all of us, Whitney had her 'demons' - some of which were fueled by her choice of 'bad boy' mate Bobby Brown. Whitney, known as "The Voice" squandered her gift, and in the end, lost her gift. But she never lost her knowledge of how to reach out to God, as witnessed by the last song she ever sang.

| Daughter & Mother |
The last human Whitney spoke to (about 20 minutes prior to her death) was her mother, Cissy Houston who is a famed Gospel Singer. Here is a video of the two of them singing.
He alone decides who writes a symphony
He lights ev'ry star that makes the darkness bright
He keeps watch all through each long and lonely night
He still finds the time to hear a child's first prayer
Saint or sinner calls and always finds him there
Though it makes him sad to see the way we live
He'll always say "I forgive"
"I Believe"
I believe for every drop of rain that falls
A flower grows,
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
A candle glows,
I believe for everyone who goes astray,
Someone will come to show the way,
I believe, I believe.
I believe above the storm a smallest prayer
Will still be heard,
I believe that someone in the great somewhere
Hears every word,
Every time I hear a newborn baby cry,
Or touch a leaf, or see the sky,
Then I know why,
I believe.
Every time I hear a newborn baby cry,
Or touch a leaf, or see the sky,
Then I know why,
I believe.
