Jeremy Lin Has REAL CLASS!

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." -John 15:18-20

Jeremy Lin has class! He personifies what a Christian is supposed to be like, and I couldn't be prouder of him.

Lin, an Asian-American Harvard Graduate, was called a "Chink" on Twitter after the Knicks' 121-79 win against the Portland Trailblazers, where Lin scored only six points with six turnovers and six assists. Instead of ignoring the Tweet, Lin responded by re-tweeting the message and offering the love of Jesus to the person behind the racial slur.

And the Twitter incident wasn't the only time Lin has been called racist names. According to the report, Ben & Jerry's ice-cream company was also accused of racial insensitivity.

Some would say it would also be easy for Lin to cry "foul" because he is a Christian, and Christians seem to be fair game in the media these days.

Yet, Lin responded to these slurs not only with dignity, he responded as Jesus would.

His tweet read: "Jesus loves you bro and I do too."

Way to go, Jeremy. You do us, and Jesus, proud.
